Description
Smies & Associates, Architects LLC were selected from an original pool of 12 architectural design firms in early 2005 to design the first new fire station since 1990 in the city of Sheboygan.

The new facility will feature a two-bay apparatus garage with storage mezzanine & a one-story residential wing. The residential area will contain a training room, lounge/living area, an office, a complete kitchen, & six private sleeping rooms.

The new building has a brick veneer base & painted cement board siding. Wood clad windows & a shingled roof were used to blend the facility into the local residential area.
