Building Cost: $439,000
Estimated Cost: $413,000
Description
The 2,900 square foot addition is the second phase of a Master Plan
that will allow the school enrollment to reach 300 students. (Phase
I was built in 1995 and cost about $950,000.) Phase II includes
two new classrooms, one of which is the new technology center for
the school. The existing library was renovated to include technology
and reading areas. A reading area includes new windows looking out
into a garden-arboretum. The library also received a new ceiling,
lights, and finishes, along with new shelving and a circulation
counter.
Phase II also included office expansion and renovation. A larger
general office, bookkeeping, and athletic director’s office
are now connected with a circulation corridor to the principal,
guidance and faculty lounge areas.
